Pay Liddy is a local tour guide, very familiar with the history of marino and explains why Lord Charlemont, who owned all the land in the area, chose to build an architectural wonder, "The Casino' in Marino.

After exploring the inside of this building, Jim makes his way to Griffith Avenue and onto the National Botanic Gardens where he goes on a loop of the outskirts of the 50 acre garden. Along the way they stop at the Curvilinear Range and at end the 8km trek, at a new gate which links the Botanic Gardens with Glasnevin cemetry.
