Scientist, lecturer, broadcaster and 2005 Rose Of Tralee, Dr. Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin, a native of Mayo, enjoys two scenic journeys at Caraheigue (Ceathruthaidhg) and Black Sod Bay. In the first of her two trails, she sets off on a bike along from Belmullet, visiting a weather station and Colaiste Uisce. This undiscovered part of North mayo is covered on bike and on foot and gives the hiker an idea of just how much there is to see and do in this beautiful part of the country. This is not so much a lake as a watery maze of islands, inlets and meandering waters. The two lads cycle along the Kingfisher cycle which goes all around Upper Lough Erne.
