Limerick - City Walk

Doireann slows the pace with a walk through Limerick City, guided by local entrepreneur and history enthusiast Stephen Cunneen. Starting at St. Mary’s Cathedral, they explore streets alive with history and street art honouring figures like Constance Smith and Dolores O’Riordan.

Stephen brings the city’s turbulent past to life, including it's storied role during the Siege of Limerick, before leading Doireann to a show stopping finale and “the best view of the city”, as described by Stephen from the ramparts of King John’s Castle.

This episode celebrates a rich and welcoming County Limerick and the people who bring it to life.
